Capture A Muse
A Writing Prompt Journal: With Yvonne Heidt
A fun journal project with Rogena Mitchell
It happens to all of us.
That epiphany, an idea you get that you’re so excited about, your fingers tingle, and you reach for paper and pen or maybe the nearest electronic device.
Excitement sends shivers skittering across your scalp, your eyes open wide, and you laugh with joy as you create your characters and storyline.
Or maybe, you’re like me and have the attention span of a gnat on crack.
Could be you want to write, have told yourself repeatedly you would…
That urge gets stronger year after year, you finally sit down, put your fingers on the keyboard, and write the first couple of scenes you’ve had in the back of your mind.
Like so many writers, myself included, have a time where you’re just staring at that damn white page…
You run out of words.
If this hasn’t happened to you – I’m ecstatic for you!
This journal is yours for the fun of it.
If you just want an interesting Journal, this book is for you.
If you want to hone your craft or need a kick start–this journal is for you.
Let it help you step out of your slump and let your creativity fly with these short prompts, geared to take somebody out of their comfort zone, and try something new.
Let your creativity fly and spark your inspiration. Break through that blank page as if you were kicking down a wall.Be honest with yourself and have fun with it!
We hope you capture the muse and these writing prompts help you in doing so. More importantly, we hope we made you smile.
From the Cover: “Some are funny, some are thought provoking, and some are damn right therapeutic!”

All You Can Eat
Editors RG Emmanuelle & Andi Marquette invited me to be a part of this project, of course I said, yes 🙂
I’m very excited to be in this anthology with these amazing authors.
Chef R.G. Emanuelle and sous chef Andi Marquette locked themselves in the kitchen to create a menu that explores the sensuous qualities of food and illustrates how the act of preparing and eating it can engage many more senses than simply taste and smell.
They gathered a great group of cooks who put together an array of dishes, and they present to you a menu that ranges from sweet and romantic to sultry and seductive, from relationships enjoying a first taste to those that have moved beyond the entrée.
Each story also ends with a recipe. Some of these require cooking implements while others are whimsical accompaniments that don’t require cooking at all—at least not in the traditional sense. After all, food serves as more than sustenance—it’s a trigger for love, laughter, sex, pleasure, and carnal and sensory satisfaction. Whatever your palate prefers, you’re sure to find something tasty here.
The menu includes dishes by Ashley Bartlett, Historia, Jae, Rebekah Weatherspoon, Cheyenne Blue, Karis Walsh, Victoria Oldham, Cheri Crystal, Andi Marquette, Jove Belle, R.G. Emanuelle, Sacchi Green, and Yvonne Heidt.
Stories were put in order (by heat level) and mine is the very last…. Ahem.
Gladiatrix + Benefactress + Slave women = HOT!
Presently, All You Can Eat is available for download at Amazon, and I will follow up when more platforms become available 🙂
