*Me*

Yvonne Heidt was born in the Haight-Ashbury District of San Francisco, California at the end of the hippie revolution. Her biggest claim to fame in that era is she and her mother lived in the same apartment building as Jimi Hendrix.

BUT – and this part is important (and often left out by others) … NOT at the same time!

Yvonne would like you to know Journey’s song about San Francisco, City by the Bay, although an anthem for her generation, neglected to mention how rarely the sun managed to make it through the cold and misty fog, which in the end – is why she ended up in the Southern States.

She currently lives in Texas with an amazing woman she’s been with for over seventeen years and shares their house with four dogs.

YVONNE’S addition to the “About Me”

It all sounds pretty vanilla, doesn’t it?

Wouldn’t it be more exciting to say I live in a haunted Victorian house overlooking the ocean – where Sandy and I take early morning walks on the sand and I spend the afternoons writing in the turret while a misty ocean breeze blows gently through the open window?

Wouldn’t that be fabulous?

*Sigh*

If none of this works for you, we could go back to the small snippet bio that I wrote:

An Empath with psychic tendencies, I was a weird kid to say the least. And all my life – and to this day – my mother constantly asked me “Where do you come UP with this stuff, Yvonne?”

The answer was, is, and will always be the same.

“I don’t know, Mom. I just make it up as I go along.”

Or my favorite: “Yvonne Heidt lives in her own little world that she’s named Vonnie-Land. She considers herself to be a charismatic Libra Goddess.”
